The shop is anchored by advanced CNC capacity, including 5-axis machining centers such as a Haas UMC-500 and Haas VF-6TR, complemented by multiple 3-axis Haas mills (VF-3SS and three VF-2s) to support scalable production and rapid iteration. Turning capabilities include CNC lathes from Mori Seiki and Okuma, along with manual lathes for prototyping and secondary operations. Nexus also maintains in-house EDM capabilities, including a Fanuc Robocut 5-axis wire EDM and hole popper, enabling tight-tolerance work, complex geometries, and internal feature processing without external vendors. Supporting equipment such as saws, grinders, and manual prototyping tools round out a well-balanced manufacturing footprint that allows Nexus to control quality, speed, and collaboration across the full build lifecycle.
