Trak 17'' X 45'' 1999

Trak 17'' X 45'' CNC lathe. The lathe was manufactured in Spain and then retrofitted with the computer system at Southwest Industries in Anaheim California. I bought this lathe New in 1999. Excellent condition with only normal paint wear. It's a great lathe for machining standard or more complex turned parts. Parts can be machined manually or the lathe can be programed to machine them automatically with the built in computer. Programming this computer is very simple because it is programmed in machinist terminology. Threading is extremely fast and machining a radius, ( concave or convex), is all programed in the computer. Turning a shaft that has multiple diameters and lengths with tapers, radiuses, threads, etc. are easily accomplished with the (cycle program). This lathe has a Dorian quick change tool post and comes with several tool holders. It also has the original installation and user manuals. I can hook it up to power for demo.
