Machine Description
This Mighty Viper Boring Mill was purchased new in 2012 for over $1,000,000 and is equipped with over $300,000 in options and upgrades. This CNC Boring Mill only has 6766 cutting hours and features
98”X x 79”Y x 59”Z travels, a 27.5” Quill travel, a full B-Axis table, a 55”x
63” Table Size; 4 step gear spindle; and a 2500 RPM Spindle Speed. Additionally, this boring mill comes heavily equipped with upgraded features including a 50HP
(30 minute) Spindle Motor; a stand-alone 60 tool automatic tool changer
magazine; a high-pressure coolant through spindle unit with full splash guard; additional internal wiring interface for 5th
axis machining; an RMP 60 Radio Probe; a data center; and Smith Ponca machine
runoff. The control was also upgraded from a Fanuc 31iMB to a Fanuc 30iM
