The Okuma VTM series 3-axis Vertical Turning Center combines the benefits of a vertical lathe with that of a Machining Center. This 50 taper 60-tool magazine enables the VTM-65 series to offer both Turning & Milling operations on a single platform. This is an ideal machine for efficient low volume parts production, including any work that requires Heavy Milling regardless of material. The box-way construction and wide, angular slideways on each axis provide high rigidity for accurate machining. A vertical axis counterbalance assures smooth, stable feed at all speeds.
